February 8, 2012 - Two significant changes to Russian immigration law have recently come into effect. Nationals of Kazakhstan and their family members are no longer bound by Russia’s work permit requirements. Additionally, the Federal Migration Service is now requesting that those foreign nationals who apply as dependents of a highly qualified specialist include apostilled copies of birth and marriage certificates when filing for the invitation letter required for their dependent visa applications.
