February 9, 2012 - A general strike of Israeli workers providing national and local services began on Wednesday. The strike includes immigration offices, banks, airports, and railways and will most likely cause a delay in visa processing, as a significant backlog is expected to develop during the workers’ absence. The duration of the strike is unknown. Additional updates will be posted as they are available.
